“A Contemporary church that holds the virtues of the gothic traditions and beliefs but attracts the next generation by a new and fresh design” this was what the church committee wanted  . they simply did not want a church that looks like the existing ones . We carefully studied and derived all the gothic elements from windows to flying buttress to Altar design , taking the basic principles and proportions and carefully abstracting them to a simpler contemporary forms. Sticking on to contemporary simplicity the materials are also minimized to simple White textures and natural wood without any vibrant colors as highlights . Although the design transfigures the complex gothic elements we abstracted it a simplicity by monotone materials and simplified details.
